The Mentoring Project
The mentoring project is currently seeking both new and established nurses to participate in a 6 month mentorship. Activities will follow a curriculum developed by nurses, for nurses. Schedules and methods of contact are flexible for busy schedules.
The main areas of focus throughout this project will be
-
Professional resiliency
-
Communication
-
Conflicts in the workplace
-
Leadership skills
-
Time management
-
Professional goals

Participating mentors and mentees will be matched based on work setting, practice area and professional interests. Please note that all activities are guided by mentors, but driven by mentees.
This project was made possible through support from the Center to Champion Nursing in America, a joint initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The mentoring project is hosted in ACEMAPP, a collaborative platform for health care education, recruitment, and professional development.
