We are passionate about the leadership action team because in order make a difference in nursing we need to have strong leaders that posses the clinical knowledge to lead teams and build new leaders. Providing support and opportunities for personal growth and involvement outside of bedside nursing is essential to ensure that nurses are able to gain a greater understanding of the community and needs of the patient populations served. Thus allowing us to provide excellent care and ensure that current standards of care are followed. Leading teams is challenging and we would love for this team to develop support networks for current leaders, growth opportunities within leadership, and education pathways for those who are interested in leadership.
